PDP Student Reps
About
Serving as a PDP Student Representative (PDP Rep) is a rewarding, collaborative, and educational experience through which students build their resumes, develop their teacher candidate voice, and take advantage of opportunities for professional development and networking. Teacher candidates are encouraged to apply for a PDP undergraduate student representative position at Buffalo State.
PDP Reps organize monthly meetings, prepare for special events such as the annual PDP conference, and assist with orientation. PDP Reps also conduct and present educational research of their choice at the National Association for Professional Development Schools (NAPDP) conference in the spring - research that can then be presented at future conferences as students continue to build their resumes and professional portfolios. Representatives are selected through the application and interview process.
