Scholarship
PDP provides many scholarly opportunities for all stakeholders to study effective teaching and learning. The SUNY Buffalo State PDP encourages collaborative scholarship through Action Research Minigrants and Co-teaching Minigrants. PDP teams present their work at the PDP Conference each year. PDP faculty, graduate assistants, student representatives, and student ambassadors also present at the annual meeting of the National Association for School University Partnerships (NASUP).
PDP Research Toolkit
- If you plan to do research that involves humans, you must obtain approval from the SUNY Buffalo State Institutional Review Board (IRB).
- Step 1 is to complete the Collaborative IRB Training Initiative (CITI) training.
- Step 2 is to complete a proposal using the templates provided by the Sponsored Programs Office at SUNY Buffalo State. You can find more information under the Research Compliance tab.
- Step 3 is to create a document for sharing your research and findings. A poster is an easy way to depict your research. Be sure to obtain feedback from a mentor and submit your poster printing well in advance of when you will present. Poster templates are available for download from the Graphics Office.
- You can request funding to conduct research and to travel to conferences and present your research through the:
